MONTHLY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

NOVEMBER 2022 Member Spotlight

Steve Lazarczyk

Steve Lazarczyk has been in the funeral industry for over 20 years. He received his education from Milwaukee Area Technical College – West Allis, after working for a funeral home in high school and serving his apprenticeship in the Milwaukee area. Steve has been involved with WFDA just as long and now sits on the board as the 2022 WFDA President. Steve owns Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes with two branches serving the Lake Geneva and Delavan communities.

It’s hard for Steve to pick just one reason why a WFDA membership is so valuable. From peer engagement and networking to continuing education opportunities, the association is constantly making strides towards offering a more valuable membership experience. Updates include the brand-new Association Health Plan, partnership with lobbyist Rebecca Hogan, and expansion of the Fall Conference to better serve members all over the state. Steve encourages all current members to renew, and new Funeral Directors to join to receive the unrivaled benefits that the WDFA has to offer.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time trap shooting, snowmobiling and UTVing in northern Wisconsin, and officiating high school basketball. He also serves on several other boards and committees, including the Lake Geneva Knights of Columbus, Milwaukee Casting and Sportsman’s Club in New Berlin, and in several parish committees.
