This session shares lessons learned from an innovative partnership between the Funeral Service Foundation and the Collaborative of Pediatric Palliative Care Coalitions and promotes the professional development of funeral professionals mission to improve the end of life experience for families and loved ones following the death of a child. The goal is toensure funeral professionals are prepared to support families from the initial interaction through the emotional & complex responsibility of guiding a family and the community following the death of a child.
