Vaccine Rollout Update

The latest information we have is contained in the WI COVID Vaccination plan which was submitted by state officials to the CDC in October.  In this plan, Wisconsin proposed three phases of a vaccination roll-out.  Phase 1A, would include health care workers.  Phase 1B would include residents of long term care or assisted living facilities, those aged 65 years or older and essential workers, which should include funeral directors. Wedo not currently know when Phase 1B will begin but will keep you updated as we receive more information.

Some members have been successful in receiving the vaccine, or getting their name on a list, after reaching out to their county public health office. 

Here are some counties that have their registration on their website. Even though it is under Tier 1A, members get access once they explain their roles as funeral directors. The county may not currently have vaccines, but will reach out to registrants when they do.
